Here's this week's listening list. It's much longer than usual as this is meant partly to give you an idea of the scope of Motown in the 1960s. You will probably recognize many songs (some from cover versions done later). The ones marked *** are more likely to be used in class.
The videos at the bottom are a sampling of the instrumental and a capella tracks available.
The last video is a sample of the Motown strategy of appealing to middle aged listeners by performing songs that would be familiar to them (especially on TV appearances).
